Sonya joined the Beauty Asylum team in 2019 and is a professional wedding and commercial hairstylist based in Atlanta, GA. As a bridal hair specialist with a strong focus on chic and glam styles, Sonya brings a wealth of experience, styling expertise, and product knowledge to our team.

During the week, she works as a freelance stylist for commercial campaign shoots and serves on-set through IATSE Local 798, contributing to film, television, theatre, and ad productions.

Sonya is one of our top lead bridal hairstylists, known for her versatility across all hair textures, her smoothing techniques, and her expertise in custom extensions. She’s available for weddings both near and far—whether you're planning a luxe celebration in Atlanta, a scenic destination wedding abroad, or an intimate mountaintop event in Highlands, Cashiers, or Blue Ridge, NC. She also travels to more rural venues throughout Georgia, including Newnan and surrounding areas.
